Kong

A long term project at work finally came to fruition last week when the playground surface at one of the sites was re-covered in shredded Kong rubber (if you have dogs, I'm sure you know the Kong brand). It was quite the project - the total amount of shredded rubber that we used was 26,000 pounds - all in 2,000 pound boxes. Bradley and Owen came to help and Brad was quite the trooper. He even piled in the "work crew" van to go and help sweep one of the spilled boxes off of the road. (You've got to hear the full story on this one, but suffice it to say that I love my husband). Owen tried to eat the Kong just once and then decided that he loved it and he would throw fits when I'd try to take him away. I'm so proud of my staff for how hard they worked on this one and I think that the kiddos are really going to love the new playgoround.
