I had a great time at the National Head Start Association Conference in Washington D.C. Aside from missing my boys (so so so much), I adored all of the craziness and Obama fever that the city had to offer. We met with House Representatives and even got to see a House session debating the Stimulus Package...I felt so awesome rubbing shoulders with the political big wigs. The security was INSANE and we weren't allowed to bring our cameras into most of the great places. One Capital Officer saw me struggling to take pictures...he was nice to us and in return, I asked to take his picture....at first he was acting all tough and then I asked for a smile. So cute! Overall, it was a life changing experience, but I'm glad to be back home in to the nice(er) weather and my cute lil' family.

i should of had you meet up with laney. she is living there and i am sure you two could have shared an awkward lunch for ol' times' sake.
I just found out from your mom that you went. What happened to keeping in touch? We suck. That is awesome that you got to go.
