August 6, 2010 - Mitch and Heidi get hitched...
Shortly after Mitch’s proposal to Heidi, the planning began and my mom was worried about when we would be able to come into town for the wedding….It was fun to be living in town for the festivities. Brad and I were on kid patrol for the temple time. After readying and carpooling ourselves + Owen, Violet, Bryson, Stephanie, Grandpa Paul, and Addy, Brad thought that it might be easier to get a temple recommend.
The gang on the grounds...
Our attempt at getting a couple shot....
At the Lion House Wedding Breakfast....Owen enjoyed the truffles and Violet enjoyed being harassed...
At the wedding. Owen was a stoic member of the wedding party.
The kids were about done by this time in the evening...
Brad, Cade, and a few of Mitch's friends took shifts driving the shuttle from parking to the wedding. The guys ended up enjoying this task a little too much and the neighbors lamented over their damaged shrubs.
Owen and Addy (and Brad, let's be honest) enjoying teetering and tottering... A downpour had the wedding party rushing indoors to wait it out.
Notice Heidi wiggin' a bit...
The rest of us took advantage of some down time...
Speaking of Down Time...Provo Canyon
We took a day off to relax and enjoy the mountains. Owen loved splashing and throwing rocks into the lake, much to the chagrin of the die-hard fishermen.
After a few hours we had to leave because Mr. Hurley was getting too much attention. Seriously, groups of strangers kept approaching us and taking snap shots of Hurley with their kids. Such a spectacle...
Moosehorn Lake Camping Trip
The Bullough fam took a short camping trip to the traditional camping spot of our youth, Moosehorn Lake. The scenery was more impressive and the hike around the lake was more difficult than I remembered.
Owen loved catching his first fish, but was horrified that we wanted him to touch it. Uncle Jeff smoked the trout and we all had a tasty snack.
My tender boy appreciating the wild flowers.
Our hike around the lake...those rocks were tough to cross with a toddler, a baby, a camera, and 3 dogs....
Born free....
The kids played cacoon and butterfly with Ash in the hammock for a good solid hour.
Owen has a bad case of road rash from hitting the ground on a full sprint.

I loved the trip down memory lane! There's been a lot going on since August. I'm so glad you recorded the marker mishap! It still makes me laugh!
