Snow Day

An early (much too early, in my opinion) fall snow storm hit Denver today. When Owen woke up, I showed him the snow outside and he was so excited. He kept telling me "Wow....it's white!"
Aunt Alicia and Cousin Isaak came over, so we bundled the boys up and took them outside to play in the snow. Let's just say that Isaak was not a fan. Owen kept telling me he was cold and doing the shiver that I taught him. He didn't really want to walk in the snow until Brad stomped a path for him.
Snow makes Hurley hyper and happy - he was in doggie heaven. Owen thought that Hurley's running around was funny....until Hurley played too rough and tried to take us down.

Always dainty and gentle.....it makes me giggle.
A man of many faces....this is Owen telling me that it was cold. It's hard to see, but the snowflakes kept getting caught in Owen's eyelashes. It was too precious.
I'm hopeful for another snow day tomorrow. So far, we're at about 7 inches at our house.....not a ton by Utah standards, I know, but this state is awful at plowing. Where I work, in Golden, the snow is around a foot deep and I'm just happy to have the day off.

Dad says that Owen needs to wear snow camo to blend in better.
We love you guys!
